Just an observation:
When I was a little kid, I used to get annoyed when all these “old guys” like Don Ameche, George Burns, and Bob Hope were on my TV. As a child, I was highly irritated by these people. They had no relevance to me and my life as a child in the early 1980s.
Fast forward to 2012 when Don Ameche and George Burns, particularly, are two of my absolute favorite actors due to their work on radio. I seek out videos of them on YouTube, some of which is the same stuff I rolled my eyes at when I was just a child.
